Canadian Sport Centre Pacific

Canadian Sport Centre Pacific (CSC Pacific), in partnership with the national network of Canadian Sport Centres and BC network of PacificSport Centres, delivers sport performance programs to help athletes and coaches win medals for Canada. Whistler is one of the CSC Pacific's three campuses where the organization works in support of our national and provincial sport partners to create a stronger system for the development of athletes, coaches, integrated support teams and sport performance facilities.

The following athletes and teams can access the strength and conditioning gym for no charge:

  • Sport Canada nationally carded athletes from across Canada
  • National Teams (targeted summer and winter sports) from across Canada for training camps and/or competitions
  • Provincially identified athletes (as per PSO eligibility criteria)

There is no public access to the gym.  Visiting Athletes who are eligible to access the facility (per the criteria above) should contact James Boose in advance, to receive a brief orientation to the facility.

CSC Pacific also works with international teams/athletes who are visiting Whistler for training camps or competitions.  All team training camp gym access inquires are to be directed to Leslie Clarke, Manager of Winter Sport.

In addition to the strength and conditioning gym, CSC Pacific also operates a human performance testing lab and a recovery/regeneration room at the Whistler Athletes’ Centre.

OROS, Whistler Gymnastics Centre

The gymnastics hall is operated by Oros, the Whistler Gymnastics Centre. Oros is a not-for-profit society that focuses on community and access programs and will also rent the hall out to external sport groups wishing to use the space for training purposes.
